We are currently seeking a Class 3 Asphalt Transport Operator to enhance our team.


Position Overview:


Under the supervision of the Foreman, the Asphalt Transport Operator is tasked with the secure and efficient operation of a vehicle to deliver essential resources such as water, fuel, and tools for the daily operations of the paving team.

This role also encompasses the responsibility of inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining the vehicle, along with assisting in diverse activities on-site during downtime.


Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate materials based on project requirements;
- Safely and promptly transport materials and tools to specified locations;
- Inform the Foreman of any maintenance or repair needs;
- Report any driving violations or suspensions;
- Maintain awareness of surroundings at all times;
- Ensure a safe working environment in adherence to all safety regulations, utilizing appropriate tools and equipment for tasks;
- Safeguard and promote the interests of the company in all matters, taking necessary actions to fulfill these responsibilities;
- Ensure the safety of fellow workers;
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including assisting the crew with various labor tasks.

Essential Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a construction setting;
- Class 3 Driver's License with Condition 15, or a Class 1 Driver's License;
- Ability to adhere to a structured work schedule as directed by a supervisor;
- Familiarity with construction site protocols, regulations, and codes of conduct;
- Willingness to collaborate within a team environment;
- Capability to operate necessary equipment safely and responsibly;
- Compliance with all safety policies and procedures;
- Effective communication skills with colleagues and supervisors to ensure proper project completion;
- Commitment to working safely as a condition of employment.

Work Environment:
The Asphalt Transport Operator position may involve physically demanding tasks.

This role requires lifting, pulling, and managing heavy equipment and materials, necessitating the use of personal protective equipment, including hard hats, steel-toed boots, and reflective vests to minimize risks on the job site.
