About the Role

Gustave A. Larson is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer service to our clients in the HVAC/R industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and dealers within your assigned territory to ensure customer satisfaction with service and products.
  • Drive Business Growth: Continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge to maintain a competitive advantage in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
  • Provide Customer Service Expertise: Offer customer service expertise and support to pricing, quoting, credit terms, and orders.
  • Execute National Sales Programs: Present and execute national sales programs and initiatives, including co-op, rebates, returns, strategic business plans, and corporate promotions to drive new business within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate on Regional Business Growth Plans: Collaborate with the team to develop and execute regional business growth plans, including scheduling and coordinating dealer support events.
  • Ensure Compliance: Perform all company functions per state and federal laws and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2 years (or more) of HVAC/R industry experience, with a focus on residential systems.
  • Industry Knowledge: Well-versed understanding of the HVAC/R contracting business.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Outlook.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
