Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Associate Patient Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our patient service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to patients, families, and healthcare providers. Your primary duties will include:

  • Conducting patient check-in and check-out
  • Scheduling appointments through clinical communication or direct request
  • Providing positive first impressions utilizing customer service skills
  • Ensuring point of service collections
  • Managing the reception area and maintaining an orderly appearance

Key Responsibilities:

As an Associate Patient Service Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely patient information
  • Providing excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Managing patient flow and ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care

Technical Capabilities:

You will possess the following technical capabilities:

  • Medical Terminology & Documentation: The ability to comprehend medical terminology and documentation in an office or surgical setting
  • Patient Documentation: The ability to receive and record patient information
  • Patient Scheduling: The ability to coordinate and schedule patient appointments, surgeries, and other office visits with various computer systems

Position Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant work experience
  • Less than 1 year of experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
