About This Role

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Specialist to join our team.

This individual will provide exceptional patient care and support, working closely with our healthcare team to ensure seamless patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient check-in and check-out, ensuring accurate and timely registration
  • Coordinate follow-up appointments and procedures, utilizing clinical communication and administrative skills
  • Schedule appointments, procedures, or surgery, working closely with patients and external facilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, utilizing active listening and problem-solving skills
  • Manage administrative tasks, including referrals, pre-certifications, clinical records, and documentation

Requirements

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with 1 year of relevant work experience in a healthcare setting.
