About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Services Associate to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to patients and their families by managing patient menu selections, data collection, and diet office functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Distribute and collect menus in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist patients in completing menu selections in compliance with prescribed diets, as assigned by dietitians.
  • Offer alternatives to menu items as allowed on prescribed diets, taking into account food allergies or sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
  • Plan regular and modified menus based on current diet manuals.
  • Prepare and distribute supplements, tube feedings, and enteral formula in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Manage human/donor milk and/or infant formula inventory and distribution.
  • Adhere to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient's rights policies.
  • Comply with regulatory agency standards, including federal, state, and TJC.
  • Complete all required documentation, reports, and logs.
  • Follow facility and department infection-control policies and procedures.
  • Participate in facility-wide and department Performance Improvement Program and on Performance Improvement teams to improve processes and patient care.
