This role is based in a lively salon environment where you will report directly to the Salon Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for the beauty sector and have prior experience in customer service, particularly with customer management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Become proficient in the salon's POS system to manage appointments and bookings.
  • Conduct cash handling procedures, ensuring security and accuracy.
  • Greet clients warmly and offer refreshments.
  • Respond to phone calls and emails promptly.
  • Assist in promoting product sales.
  • Manage supply orders to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Coordinate with stylists to ensure timely service delivery and manage client expectations effectively.
  • Communicate pricing structures clearly to clients.
  • Guarantee exceptional customer service that not only meets but exceeds client expectations.
  • Support marketing initiatives to enhance stylist visibility and bookings.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon, including client areas and restrooms.
  • Assist with cleaning and laundry tasks as needed.
  • Perform additional errands as required.
  • Keep the Salon Manager informed of any important updates.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Hourly wage ranging from $17 to $20, based on experience, with opportunities for advancement.
  • Weekly pay via direct deposit.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least one year of receptionist experience preferred.
  • A minimum of two years in customer service roles.
  • Experience in a beauty salon is a plus.
  • Sales experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
