Position Overview:
The Engineering Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing projects aimed at enhancing processes, implementing automation, and integrating new processing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of processing equipment.
- Develop User Requirement Specifications (URS) and manage vendor selection processes.
- Conduct project management activities, including writing Request for Change (RCE) documents and facilitating design review meetings.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards such as ASME BPE and ISPE guidelines.
- Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and manage all necessary equipment documentation.
- Coordinate the commissioning of equipment.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a minimum of three years of experience in a similar capacity within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device manufacturing environments. A recognized Project Management qualification is advantageous. Familiarity with URS and FAT programs is essential, along with a solid understanding of the various roles within a manufacturing facility and their impact on project execution.
Personal Attributes:
The ideal candidate will hold a level 8 degree and demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills, thriving in a dynamic environment. Attention to detail is crucial, including the ability to proofread documents and accurately translate client requirements into actionable instructions. Candidates should be based in proximity to the operational site and be prepared for occasional travel.
