Merchandise Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Merchandise Coordinator to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team to provide an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Receiving and Merchandising: Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing of merchandise onto the sales floor.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with Associates to ensure tasks and activities are completed according to store plan, prioritizing as needed.
- Customer Experience: Engage and interact with all customers to provide an excellent shopping experience, maintaining a clean and organized store.
- Inventory Management: Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded, and maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the backroom area.
- Training and Development: Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles, and partner with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
- Communication: Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities, and provide progress updates.
- Experience: 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
- Skills: Superior communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
- Availability: Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
At HomeGoods, we offer a competitive starting pay range of $16.69 to $17.19 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
