Sales Director

The Hyatt Place Columbus Worthington is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement sales strategies
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to secure group and volume business
- Manage the departmental budget and monitor sales activities to ensure actual sales meet or exceed established revenue plan
- Coordinate with other hotel-level departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the sales office and prospective clients
- Develop hotel-level tactical sales plans to support overall system-wide sales plans and strategies
- Attend out-of-town conventions to generate convention and group business
- Assist the General Manager in the development and update of the hotel-level business plan
- Complete monthly sales recap reports
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hotel sales management experience
- Strong selling and negotiation skills
- Ability to work flexible schedule when needed
- Great communication skills
