Your Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with clients by engaging in discussions about their requirements and expectations. Collaborate with the Customer Care team to ensure all inquiries are addressed promptly.
  • Work alongside colleagues within the Sea Logistics sector to exchange knowledge and best practices. Keep abreast of market trends and changes in the Transpacific Eastbound sector.
  • Adhere to all Kuehne+Nagel policies, including those related to ethics, compliance, and safety.
  • Be open to taking on additional tasks to support organizational objectives.
  • Create a detailed sales strategy that aligns with our corporate goals.
  • Engage with clients through in-person meetings, phone conversations, and presentations. Negotiate and finalize agreements to enhance revenue. Manage the sales cycle from initiation to completion using a CRM platform.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of all company offerings. It is essential to effectively promote these products and services to clients.
  • Utilize all available resources to meet sales targets. Deliver outstanding customer service that surpasses client expectations. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather information, negotiate pricing, and prepare for the transition of shipments to operations.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • At least 2+ years of field sales experience in freight forwarding, particularly in sea or air logistics (preferred).
  • Familiarity with logistics processes and solutions.
