Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic individual to join our team as a Patient Administrative Coordinator. This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner, verifying appointments and assisting with paperwork
  • Ensure effective communication with patients, physicians, and staff members, including follow-ups and updates
  • Maintain complex schedules, coordinating with therapists and staff to accommodate patient needs
  • Assist patients with insurance-related questions, verifying benefits and obtaining authorizations
  • Accurately update and maintain electronic medical and billing records, following up on additional information as needed
  • Collect copayments and process billing tasks in a timely and professional manner
  • Support clinic performance by preparing management information and maintaining clinic supplies and equipment
  • Respect patient privacy and adhere to confidentiality policies

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Experience in patient-centered healthcare or customer-facing roles is an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid basic computer skills
