Job Summary

Westlake Services is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the safe and effective utilization of our manufacturing facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing and developing personnel to meet or exceed production goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct personnel to ensure safe and efficient production operations
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer requirements
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve production issues
  • Administer the Westlake Safety Program and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports and paperwork
  • Recommend alterations and redesign of equipment to improve production efficiency
  • Direct and develop personnel to meet or exceed quality standards
Requirements
  • High School Diploma and at least 5 years' experience working in a production environment
  • Thorough understanding of PVC extrusion processes and causes
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Working Conditions

The employee will be regularly exposed to wet and/or humid/cold conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee will frequently be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
