This position is part of our EnviroLogix division, which specializes in creating and producing testing solutions for the detection of GMOs, mycotoxins, plant pathogens, natural toxins, and chemical contaminants across various agricultural sectors.

Position Overview:
EnviroLogix is on the lookout for a Regional Sales Manager to operate within our Midwest territory.

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and overseeing direct sales as well as specific industry markets and territories to promote EnviroLogix products, services, and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Generation:
Meet and surpass revenue and profit objectives through direct sales efforts.

Formulate sales strategies, account management, and development initiatives for direct sales clients that align with product-specific growth targets and overall brand strategies.

Continuously monitor, assess, and analyze key performance indicators such as sales outcomes against budget, gross margins, and competitive dynamics.

Respond promptly and professionally to sales leads, inquiries, and opportunities generated for the territory and/or end-user sales.

Maintain comprehensive records of all sales and account management activities.

Assist distributors as necessary to provide local account management for designated Key Accounts.

Design and implement effective marketing campaigns that maximize the value derived from co-op marketing funds.

Prepare and submit reports, plans, forecasts, and expense reports in a timely manner as required by management.

Market Analysis:
Identify market trends, competitive actions, and geopolitical factors that may influence EnviroLogix's business positively or negatively.

Establish and nurture collaborative relationships with extension agents, state laboratories, and relevant industry leaders within the assigned territory.

Provide insights and interpretations of market conditions to help EnviroLogix seize opportunities and mitigate risks.

Explore new markets and opportunities for existing products.

Collaborate with Product Development and Marketing to identify and support long-term opportunities that leverage EnviroLogix's core competencies and technologies.

Reporting Structure:
This position reports to the Vice President of Global Sales.

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and perform effectively under pressure.

Proficient in building and nurturing relationships that drive revenue growth.

Ability to analyze performance metrics to foster improvement; focused on processes.

Stay informed on competitive landscapes and changes to guide strategic planning.

Develop and maintain executive-level business relationships.

Navigate the political landscape within distribution channel accounts.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Strong presentation capabilities.

Qualifications:
2-4 years of progressive experience in account management, sales, or customer success roles.

Experience at the intersection of agriculture and biotechnology is preferred.

A BA/BS degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or Agricultural Business, or equivalent educational experience.

A valid driver's license is required.
