Key Qualifications:

Experience in power system or control system engineering is advantageous.

Experience supporting advanced power systems, including Power Flow and State Estimation within the Bulk Electric System.

Familiarity with grid solutions and advanced applications such as state estimation and contingency analysis is essential.

Proficient use of industry-standard power flow analysis tools is expected.

Strong technical and analytical skills are required for competitive candidates.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with a proactive approach, are highly valued.
Operational knowledge of the Electric Transmission System is necessary.
Strong organizational and leadership capabilities are essential.

Responsibilities:
Support real-time applications including state estimation and contingency analysis, ensuring high-quality solutions by refining network models and addressing telemetry issues.
Design, develop, and implement modifications to EMS system models to reflect ongoing changes in transmission, generation, and SCADA systems.
Provide timely responses to control center personnel regarding power system application issues.
Assist with daily maintenance activities for EMS.
Identify and address gaps in EMS processes.
Support the development and implementation of procedures in compliance with applicable standards.
Provide operational support for EMS, including on-call duties as required.
Serve as a technical lead on projects involving multiple departments, overseeing project completion.
