Healthcare Administration Professor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor to join our Department of Health Sciences at Western University of Health Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching graduate-level courses in health administration, developing and implementing curriculum, and providing education and supervision to students.
Responsibilities:
- Teach graduate-level courses in health administration, including course development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the department's goals and objectives.
- Provide education and supervision to students, including direct field training experience, research, and service activities.
- Engage in scholarly research and publication in areas relevant to health administration.
- Serve on departmental, college, and university-level committees and participate in community service activities.
- Remain current in the field of healthcare administration and maintain skills and knowledge in the art and science of teaching and learning at the graduate level.
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in healthcare administration, public health, health services, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Three years' experience teaching in higher education.
- Possess the appropriate foundational knowledge to deliver quality health science education.
- Ability to organize and present material in lectures, communicate effectively in large and small groups, and accurately examine the knowledge and clinical skills attained by students.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in coordinating students' fieldwork experiences.
- Established line of inquiry or research agenda.
