The Talent Mine is seeking a seasoned Senior Security Engineer to join our team in the DT Seattle area. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining new and existing IT security systems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expertise in IT security systems, including network and application security
- Collaborate with vendors, end-users, and teams across the organization to identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities
- Participate in 24/7 IT Incident Response Team as a member of an on-call rotation
- Monitor networks and systems for security events and alerts, analyze trends, and determine downstream impact
- Maintain and audit all logs and records associated with operation procedures
- Assist in after-action activity reviews and identify findings associated with an incident
- 4+ years of overall IT Systems expertise
- 2+ years focused on cybersecurity
- Professional expertise at a mid/sr. level using PowerShell, SQL, and/or automation scripting tools and languages
- Sr. level expertise of the OSI model as it pertains to troubleshooting and system architecture
- Solid experience with Microsoft 365 technologies and basic virtualization skills
- Foundational Windows Sys admin skills with Windows Server OS, Active Directory, and Microsoft Windows Services
- Proven background in design, build, and support of a hybrid IT environment
- Design, deploy, and administer LAN/WAN networks, including firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, and wireless solutions
