About the Role

Aon seeks a seasoned professional to fill the position of Sales Force Effectiveness Consultant Leader. This individual will be responsible for leading multiple client engagements, building relationships with senior business leaders, and overseeing a team of consultants in delivering high-quality sales effectiveness solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Business Strategy: Create and implement a business strategy to penetrate local and regional markets, introduce new clients to the firm, and meet annual revenue goals.
  • Revenue Generation: Sell at least $1.25 million in consulting engagements and bill between $750k and $850k per fiscal year (1040 – 1144 hours depending on billing rate).
  • Team Leadership: Build a team of SFE consultants that demonstrate mastery of Aon's consulting competencies, tools, and methodologies, providing solutions to client needs and delivering financial returns to the practice and the firm.
  • Market Development: Develop a market platform with sizable opportunities and repeatable revenues, either geographic, industry-focused, or offer-specific, with a focus on lead origination.
  • Client Engagement: Lead Sales Effectiveness and Rewards engagements, develop leveraged teams that work together effectively, and build the SFE brand at Aon through research, methodology development, publishing, and/or speaking initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong Client Relationship Management: Manage multiple client engagements, build relationships with senior business leaders, and oversee a team of consultants.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate mastery of sales force effectiveness concepts and analytical techniques, have developed new tools/techniques, and proven technical leadership in enhancing the entire practice's capability.
  • Leadership: Find opportunities, marshal resources, build plans, remove obstacles, and champion worthy causes, demonstrating role-model behavior for internal and external resources.
  • Relationship Development: Accumulate favorable business relationships among past and present clients, senior and junior resources, and formal and informal alliances, yielding financial returns on investment.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of work experience, with at least 8 years in consulting.
