Position: Financial Analyst

Location: Mesa, AZ (in-office)

Reports to: Manager, Financial Analysis

Compensation: Starting at $90K - $100K (commensurate with experience) plus 10% Bonus

Role Summary: The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in reporting, analyzing, forecasting, and budgeting processes. Candidates should possess a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Relevant experience in Accounting, FP&A, or similar fields is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting & Analysis: Assist in delivering comprehensive analysis of organizational performance and effectively communicate insights to relevant leadership.
  • Forecasting: Utilize historical data, market conditions, and other relevant information to support the monthly forecasting process.
  • Financial Planning: Contribute to the annual long-term financial planning initiatives.
  • Business Collaboration: Partner closely with business stakeholders to drive enhancements that support the company’s overall financial objectives.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis & Projects: Provide support for evolving initiatives within a fast-paced business environment.
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in Accounting, FP&A, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a comparable discipline.
  • Experience in the retail sector is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced formula usage.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to present financial data through detailed reports and visualizations.
  • Willingness to become a subject matter expert in assigned responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
