Job Overview

The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Financial Analysis Manager to oversee the Defense Financial Analysis Management team. This role is pivotal in managing the financial operations of our Government Sustainment initiatives.

As a leader in this capacity, you will be responsible for guiding a team of analysts in the financial oversight of various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise budget management and financial planning Implement earned value management techniques Conduct thorough estimates at completion and variance analysis to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities

The Senior Financial Analysis Manager will:

Lead, develop, and inspire a diverse team to execute financial analysis that informs strategic business decisions Initiate and drive process enhancements Provide guidance and mentorship on technical methodologies Foster effective communication and collaboration within the finance department and with stakeholders

Position Duties:

Oversee the Financial Analysis Defense Labor Center of Excellence, supporting various operational and international service agreements Analyze Estimates at Completion, manage budget baselines, and perform financial forecasting and risk assessments Develop and implement project plans, policies, and operational objectives Secure resources for projects and spearhead process improvements

Additional Information:

This position operates in a hybrid model, requiring some onsite work as determined by the hiring team.

Compliance Requirements:

This role adheres to export control compliance standards, necessitating that candidates meet the definition of a "U.S. Person" as per regulatory guidelines.

Basic Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field Minimum of 3 years' experience in financial analysis, modeling, or resource forecasting Proven experience leading teams or projects for at least 3 years Expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM) for over 3 years

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Estimates at Completion, data analysis, and budgeting for at least 1 year Background in process improvement for a minimum of 1 year Demonstrated ability in team development and motivation for at least 1 year Strong communication skills with senior management and stakeholders A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work
