About the Department
Our sales team is comprised of Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, Solution Engineers, and Customer Success professionals who work together to help our customers adopt Cloudflare and create great Internet-enabled experiences. This role is part of our rapidly growing Asia Pacific sales team, based in Tokyo, Japan.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to drive sales in Japan and expand our customer base. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of contacts within Japan, including small and mid-sized companies, as well as relevant channel partners such as Systems Integrators, Value Added Resellers, and MSPs. The successful candidate will possess both sales and technical skills, enabling them to drive engagement with junior through senior levels within Cloudflare's target customers. Key responsibilities include developing and executing a sales strategy for Japan, driving sales to achieve revenue targets, creating and articulating compelling value propositions for Cloudflare services, managing contract negotiations, maintaining a robust sales pipeline, recruiting and developing partners to extend reach and drive adoption, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree, fluency in Japanese and English, direct experience selling network security or SaaS, direct experience selling to enterprise accounts as a lead seller and relationship owner, and a technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS. Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills, as well as organizational skills, are also essential. This role may require access to information protected under U.S. export control laws, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
