Alutiiq is a leading provider of facilities operations and maintenance services. We are seeking a Quality Control Manager to join our team at the HMX-1 facility in Washington, DC.

About the Role

The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the facility's physical assets are maintained and optimized to support smooth operations. This includes developing and maintaining an effective quality control program, conducting regular inspections and audits, and identifying deficiencies and implementing corrective actions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive quality management system to ensure services are performed in accordance with contract specifications and standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with contract requirements and safety standards.
  • Identify and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and ensure non-recurrence of defective services.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare and submit detailed quality control reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
  • Ensure all operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and best commercial practices.
  • Provide training and support to staff to ensure understanding and adherence to quality standards.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have five years of experience in preparing and enforcing programs on Base Operations Support Contracts, including facilities management, facilities investment, custodial, grounds maintenance and landscaping, pest control and pavement clearance. A strong understanding of quality control principles, practices, and standards applicable to base operations support services is also required.

A DoD Top Secret clearance is required, and a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance is desired. The work environment may include exposure to loud noises, dust, and hazardous materials. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
