Senior Quality Assurance Manager

Liberty IT Solutions, a Booz Allen company, is seeking a full-time Senior Quality Assurance Manager to lead our testing efforts.

The ideal candidate will have experience with VistA, Web Application, and Test Automation, as well as a strong understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing the quality of software deliverables using manual and automated testing techniques
  • Creating test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts to ensure that enhancements/modifications adequately address the functionality documented in the business requirements
  • Working closely with Functional Analysts and Developers to address any ambiguity in functional requirements
  • Guiding mid-level and junior-level SQA Analysts to ensure that all testing and documentation adhere to established quality processes and procedures
  • Recording and tracking issues and updating defect logs

Preferred qualifications include experience with Jira, Forum, and Agile frameworks, as well as strong communication and analytical skills.

Remote work is allowed.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or higher in a business or technical discipline

5 years of experience, or 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing functional requirements with Business/Functional Analysts to ensure completeness and to remove any ambiguity
  • Collaborating with Business Analysts, Developers, and other Test Engineers to develop effective testing strategies
  • Creating test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scenarios, requirements traceability matrices, etc.
  • Executing test cases (manual and automated) and analyzing results
  • Creating logs to document and track defects

Minimum qualifications include VA experience, experience with Jira and Forum, and proven experience as a Senior QA, tester, or similar role.
