Quality Assurance Manager

A leading food and beverage manufacturer is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee quality at their facility located in the Washington, D.C. area.



Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with external standards, including BRC, RFA, Kosher, and Organic standards, to maintain a high level of quality and safety in food production.
Develop and oversee quality systems and standards for both the plant and suppliers to ensure consistency and excellence in product quality.
Address consumer and customer complaints and manage food safety control systems to prevent any potential issues.
Collaborate with internal teams to support and audit training programs, ensuring that all employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to maintain high-quality standards.

Requirements:
5-7 years' experience in FMCG, with a strong background in quality assurance and food safety regulations.
Degree in Quality/Food Science or related field, with a focus on quality management and control.
Proven track record of implementing and maintaining quality systems and standards, with a strong understanding of GFSI standards and regulations.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with the ability to analyze data and create reports to support quality initiatives.
