Senior Director of Enterprise Risk Management

About the Role:
The Senior Director of Enterprise Risk Management will lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of company-wide risks, ensuring the organization's overall risk posture is aligned with its strategic objectives. This role will also be responsible for managing the League's insurance program, developing and implementing risk management policies and procedures, and overseeing claims management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate enterprise risks.
- Manage the League's insurance program, including procurement, administration, and claims management.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to ensure the organization's risk posture is aligned with its strategic objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with insurance brokers and carriers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor industry trends and benchmarks to ensure the League's risk management practices are best-in-class.
- Manage claims against third-party insurance carriers and ensure timely and cost-effective resolution.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., risk management, finance, business administration).
- 10+ years of experience in risk management, claims management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex risk management concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- A competitive salary range of $145,000 - $185,000, depending on experience.
