Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Risk Management Analyst to join our team at IDB Bank. As a key member of our Office of Enterprise Risk Management, you will play a critical role in supporting our enterprise-wide risk management program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the identification of risks throughout the organization and develop methodologies for risk assessment.
  • Communicate with various stakeholders regarding risk practices and emerging risks in different business units.
  • Act as a consultative resource to the first and second lines of defense, providing risk presentations and reports to business unit leaders, executive management, and the Board of Directors.
  • Contribute to the development of entity-wide policies related to risk management and risk governance.
  • Manage the Issues Management aggregation, reporting, and notification process.
  • Track and report on bank-wide policies and risk management department procedures.
  • Compile and monitor key risk indicators and assess the need for new indicators.
  • Challenging various risk-related processes, including risk assessments, risk appetite proposals, and reporting information.
  • Contribute to the annual capital adequacy assessment process.
  • Work with business lines and support teams on risk assessments and action plans to remediate heightened risks.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly presentations for Senior Management, the Board of Directors' Executive Risk Management Committee, and the Parent Company.
  • Prepare ad-hoc risk management reports as assigned.
Requirements
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in risk management, internal audit, external audit, or risk management for a financial institution, consulting firm, or regulatory agency.
  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Collaborative team player with flexibility and ability to shift among various tasks and projects.
  • Knowledge of credit, liquidity, market, and capital risks is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Software Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • An understanding of finance/accounting/business operations, either through educational degree or work experience.
  • Ability to understand sound risk/reward decisions.
  • Ability to balance data, logic, and intuition in all activities.
  • Ability to think broadly, generate simple and creative ideas, and translate strategy to execution.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and as a team.

The expected annual salary for this position is between $75,000 and $95,000 at the start of employment. A salary offer is determined on an individualized basis, taking into consideration factors such as an individual's skills and experience.
