Position Overview:
The Warehouse Supervisor at 8th Avenue plays a crucial role in managing the daily operations of our Warehouse teams.

In this capacity, you will oversee the flow of raw materials and finished products within and between facility locations and customer transport; you will be responsible for ensuring team training and adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards regarding personnel safety, food safety, allergen management, FIFO, inventory checks, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

The Warehouse Supervisor is dedicated to fostering individual growth, development, and teamwork.

Essential Duties:


1. Prioritize personnel safety by exemplifying best practices and holding team members accountable for a safety-first culture.

2. Cultivate a positive and collaborative team environment that engages with cross-departmental partners.

3. Conduct pre-shift planning, staffing, and communicate daily tasks and initiatives.

4. Perform daily audits of inventory movements, allergen controls, and GMP compliance.

5. Review work orders for kits (Warehouse) and/or shipments (Distribution Center) to ensure FIFO procedures are adhered to.

6. Oversee the unloading of raw materials and/or kits from transport vehicles into designated plant locations and assign them to appropriate storage areas.

7. For distribution center roles, ensure the unloading of finished products and assign them to the correct areas.

8. Support inventory accuracy by ensuring DSI barcode transactions are executed according to established policies and procedures.

9. Follow up with the team on empty location checks and perform cycle counts to verify expected versus actual inventory levels.

10. Ensure daily powered industrial truck inspections are conducted in line with established policies and procedures; report issues to the warehouse administrator for timely repairs.

11. Utilize the company maintenance work order system to submit facility repair requests.

12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehousing, distribution, and/or logistics.

2. High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in food manufacturing.

2. Familiarity with powered industrial trucks (PIT).

3. Experience with warehouse management systems (scanners, etc.).

4. Knowledge of ERP systems (JDE preferred).

5. At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role.

Physical Requirements:
Qualified candidates must be able to meet the following physical demands, with or without reasonable accommodation:

1. Ability to lift up to 55 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.

2. Capability to reach, grasp, and perform rapid, repeated movements of fingers, hands, and wrists throughout the shift.

3. Ability to work at or above shoulder height for short periods during the shift.

4. Capability to push, pull, bend, stretch, twist, and/or reach throughout the shift.

5. Ability to distinguish between sounds, such as forklift horns, fire alarms, and machine signals.

6. Comfort working in hot, humid, and cold manufacturing environments.

7. Ability to work in dusty conditions.

8. Ability to stand and walk for the entirety of the shift (8 hours).

9. Ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods.

10. Comfort climbing stairs/ladders throughout the shift.

Compensation:
$20.00+ based on experience

All offers are contingent upon a successful drug screen and background check. The pre-employment test does not include marijuana/THC.
