Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our team at McGrath Rent Corp. As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers, identifying new prospects, and developing strategic sales plans to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new prospects and customers through research and outreach efforts
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure attainment of company business goals
  • Support efforts to consistently grow the base of referral sources
  • Effectively present and discuss the product and services of the company to current and prospective customers
  • Actively manage short and long-term leads from external lead sources to qualify prospects and advance them through the sales process

Requirements:

  • Effective prospecting skills and prior sales experience
  • Strong orientation toward results and a successful track record of exceeding goals
  • Dedication to exceeding expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
  • Ability to relate well to all types of people and build rapport and effective relationships
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills and proficiency in a Windows environment
