Job Title: Purchasing Administrator
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and coordinating the City's centralized purchasing program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate the City's centralized purchasing program
- Supervise a professional or technical staff engaged in the purchasing of supplies, materials, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and procedures
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to achieve cost savings and improve efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Five years of responsible professional or administrative experience in purchasing or a related field
- At least one year of supervisory experience
