Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS). The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Semper Fit division, ensuring the smooth operation of our programs and activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer a wide range of administrative functions, including correspondence, reports, and data entry.
  • Coordinate and perform various administrative tasks, such as travel arrangements, equipment inventory, and personnel paperwork.
  • Provide clerical support for Semper Fit programs, including creating spreadsheets, purchase orders, and contracts.
  • Establish and maintain subject matter files and records.
  • Make arrangements for travel and transportation as directed.
Requirements
  • Three years of experience in administrative practices and principles.
  • Ability to organize and coordinate multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in operating a personal computer and associated peripheral equipment and software.
  • Knowledge of a variety of support functions, including gathering statistical data, monitoring and reporting on support budgets, and assisting in developing financial plans.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. The position requires a flexible work schedule, including weekend and evening briefs/programs, and the ability to travel to support MCCS functions.
