Customer Service Representative - FastFingerprints
Position Overview
The Customer Service Representative is tasked with handling a significant volume of incoming calls, providing sales support, and delivering exceptional customer service for NBCI. This role involves engaging with clients for fingerprinting services and nurturing business relationships to enhance service offerings. Additionally, the representative will offer general office support, address customer inquiries regarding fingerprinting, assist with departmental follow-ups, and resolve any issues that may arise. Strong communication skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service are essential for success in this position.

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Director of Sales Support, NBCI
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service and Communication
- Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Answer incoming calls in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a supportive attitude towards both internal and external clients.
- Exhibit superior customer service skills during all interactions, whether over the phone or in person.
- Welcome all clients with professionalism and a readiness to assist.
- Conduct fingerprinting and/or drug testing for walk-in clients.
- Contribute to the success of FastFingerprints by effectively communicating with management to align with company goals.
- Engage with management to address concerns, clarify questions, and resolve issues.
Operational Duties
- Stay informed about the filing of forms, paperwork, and phone communications.
- Schedule appointments and process payments via phone.
- Regularly check and respond to voicemail messages, ensuring all customer calls are returned.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting accurately and punctually.
- Assist in investigating accounts payable inquiries.
- Provide general assistance to all callers.
Team Collaboration
- Promote the objectives and goals of management within the office environment.
- Continuously seek to enhance the sales experience through improved processes.
- Foster a positive work atmosphere and lead by example.
- Support the overall success of the office by encouraging a collaborative team environment.
- Offer assistance to FastFingerprints wherever needed.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of experience in customer service.
- Demonstrated excellent attendance and reliability.
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills and a solid work ethic.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Associate's Degree is advantageous.
- Proficient customer service and communication abilities.
- Strong computer skills are required.
Additional Information:
Candidates must provide references and be prepared to undergo a pre-employment drug screening and a fingerprint-based criminal background check.
