Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide HR support to staff, including benefits administration, payroll, and employee relations
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding processes
  • Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures, including the employee handbook and policies and procedures manual
  • Administer benefits programs, including group health and life, workers' compensation, unemployment, and retirement plans
  • Research salary comparisons to ensure cost effectiveness, market competitiveness, and internal equity among employees
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience, with prior HR Manager experience preferred
  • HRIS/LMS/Payroll experience required
  • Experience working collaboratively and effectively with individuals who have been diagnosed with autism, special needs, or other emotional and cognitive challenges
Working Conditions:
  • May include lifting and supporting up to 50 pounds
  • May be required to bend, stoop, and kneel
  • Ability to work at a desk, conference table, or in meetings of various configurations
  • Ability to circulate for extended periods of time
  • Moderate to high-stress levels
