Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Accountant, your contributions will include:

- Managing client invoicing, monitoring project budgets, and processing accounts payable for various projects.

- Ensuring precise contract documentation, administration, and maintenance, including fee and budget entries in the project accounting system.

- Collaborating with the department to maintain compliance with contractual obligations and coordinating the project accounting system.

- Supporting multiple project managers and team members on a daily basis.

- Performing additional duties as required.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a relevant field or a combination of education and applicable experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; an advanced degree may compensate for years of experience.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management principles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, and spelling.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-driven, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Capability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Outlook.
  • A commitment to actively participating in our employee-owned culture is essential.
