Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Relationships: Establish and maintain positive relationships with funding sources, fellow providers, schools, training sites, employers, participants, and their families.
  • Meet Contract Requirements: Ensure that all contracts to which you are assigned are met, and compliance requirements are adhered to.
  • Provide Customer Service: Provide top-quality customer service to job seekers, employers, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct Outreach: Establish relationships in the community and coordinate outreach events for recruitment of new enrollees into programs.
  • Lead Pre-Employment Groups: Conduct Job Clubs and other pre-employment groups and meetings related to pre-employment issues and/or job seekers.
  • Perform Discovery Process: Conduct initial reviews of potential new enrollees and provide guidance through the enrollment process.
  • Participate in Person-Centered Practices: Participate in Person-Centered practices, including Discovery, Community Engagement activities, and Customized Employment.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Instruction/Mentoring: Experience or strong capacity in instructing/mentoring program participants, with prior works exposure in teaching or training individuals.
  • Working with Opportunity Youth: Two years of working with opportunity youth preferred.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form.
  • Establishing Relationships: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with participants' families, employers, funding sources, Care Coordinators, and other stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to organize work of self and others, as well as work independently as needed.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Driver's License: NYS Driver's License preferred.
