Position Overview:
The Institutional Client Relationship Manager (ICRM) is an integral member of the Institutional Client Service team at AllianceBernstein. This role is essential in facilitating the daily sales and research initiatives across Consultant Relations.

The ICRM will collaborate closely with Consultant Relations Directors to effectively present AllianceBernstein's offerings to the consultant community, arrange research meetings, address inquiries, and enhance existing investment ratings in conjunction with sales partners.

Key Responsibilities:


Specific duties will encompass but are not limited to: Assisting Consultant Relations Directors in their mission to cultivate and strengthen relationships with institutional investment consultants.

Providing exceptional service to institutional investment consultants, ensuring timely and efficient responses to their requests.

Developing a comprehensive understanding of the servicing requirements of consultants and their clients, acting as a point of resolution for any outstanding issues.


Meeting Preparation:

Conducting thorough research on consultant firms prior to meetings (utilizing third-party tools such as Preqin, eVestment, Market Lens), creating pre-meeting documentation, coordinating and participating in preparatory calls with Portfolio Management teams and other key internal stakeholders, and finalizing meeting materials.

Managing all follow-up actions post-meeting; collaborating with internal teams (business development, operations, legal & compliance) to ensure that consultant needs are effectively addressed.

Partnering with internal teams to respond to Requests for Proposal/Information, Due Diligence Questionnaires, and Portal inquiries.
Organizing and scheduling meetings and conference calls with consultants as necessary.

Leveraging the firm's intellectual resources (white papers, conferences, and webinars) and maintaining marketing initiatives to proactively distribute available materials.

Collaborating with client service teams to ensure accurate consultant records are maintained in the CRM system.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, or Marketing, with a strong academic record.
A proven track record of exceptional performance and achievement. 2-5 years of experience in the financial services sector.
A results-driven self-starter capable of quickly grasping client/consultant needs and focusing on commercial outcomes.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage personal priorities and meet strict deadlines.
Ability to network and cultivate long-term relationships with clients/consultants and internal partners.
Technical knowledge and/or a genuine interest in the institutional market, asset classes, and the competitive landscape.
A client-first mentality with the ability to influence and guide others to prioritize accordingly.
Ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; experience with Preqin and eVestment is a plus.

Series 7 License, or the ability to obtain it within six months of joining.
