Flexible HR Generalist Position

Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time HR Generalist to join our team at Ultimate Staffing. This role is essential for supporting our human resources functions within the organization.

Work Schedule: This position requires on-site presence, specifically on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 AM to 5 PM, with the potential for increased hours based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment regulations.
  • Oversee employee benefits and manage open enrollment processes.
  • Assist with payroll timekeeping and approval processes.
  • Support staffing and recruitment initiatives.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation sessions.
  • Address employment-related inquiries from applicants and staff.
  • Process leaves of absence, including LOAs and PTOs.
  • Participate in employee disciplinary meetings and investigations.
  • Administer the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Respond to human resource inquiries as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Proficient in employee relations.
  • Understanding of personnel and compliance record management.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Experience with HRIS systems.
  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
