We are seeking a skilled Relationship Banker to join our team at ESL Federal Credit Union. As a Relationship Banker, you will play a critical role in achieving sales goals by recommending products and services to members based on their needs and interests.
Key Responsibilities- Create a positive member experience by providing exceptional customer service and building long-lasting relationships.
- Help customers recognize and obtain the most appropriate solutions for their financial needs by educating and referring a variety of products and services.
- Develop a deep understanding of banking products and services to effectively meet the needs of our members.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and support branch operations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to provide expert advice to members.
- One year of experience in sales or service in the financial services industry or a comparable field.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- A high degree of flexibility to support branch needs.
- Proficient in building customer and peer relationships.
- Proficient in PC applications.
- Understanding of banking products and services preferred.
- Notary preferred; if not, obtain within 12 months of filling role.
- Must complete submission of application to the NMLS within the first week of employment and subsequently be successfully registered as a Mortgage Loan Originator through ESL.
