At Northrop Grumman, our workforce enjoys remarkable opportunities to engage in groundbreaking systems that influence lives globally, both now and for future generations. Our innovative and creative ethos has positioned us at the forefront of numerous technological milestones in our nation's journey - from the inaugural transatlantic flight to stealth aircraft, and even lunar landings. We seek individuals with bold ideas, courage, and a pioneering mindset to collaborate in crafting the future while enjoying the process. Our culture fosters intellectual curiosity, cognitive diversity, and encourages authenticity at work — fueled by an unyielding ambition to achieve what others deem unattainable. Our team members are not merely part of history; they are actively shaping it.

The ideal candidate will integrate into our high-performing Systems Engineering team, contributing to the development of Radar, EW, and EO/IR systems for some of the most sophisticated technologies in the U.S. defense arsenal. This includes radars and sensors for platforms such as the F-22, EA-18G, SEWIP, Joint Strike Fighter, F-16, B-1B, AWACS, MESA, G/ATOR, UAV systems, and various developmental initiatives.

The selected individual will exhibit robust management capabilities and possess a proven history as a driven leader, effective communicator, and problem solver, adept at fostering and maintaining positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The candidate will allocate approximately 20% of their time to organizational support and 80% to technical program activities. Management responsibilities will include administrative tasks and facilitating employee performance and career growth through guidance and training. Direct program work may involve systems engineering tasks, conducting design reviews, leading Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), consulting, proposal support, or other relevant technical functions.

Key management responsibilities include:
