Your Role:

As a key contributor to a Cybersecurity initiative, you will take on the responsibilities of a Systems Engineer. Your expertise will be vital in crafting essential system engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents. You will provide technical guidance in the development, engineering, integration, and testing of intricate hardware/software systems, which encompasses requirements gathering, analysis, functional allocation, and conducting thorough systems requirements reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive system engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans and Initial Capabilities Documents.
  • Offer technical support for the engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems, including requirements elicitation and analysis.
  • Conduct systems requirements reviews and create concepts of operation and interface standards.
  • Design system architectures and perform both technical and non-technical assessments.
  • Assist in creating operational views, technical standards views, and system/service views for architectures in accordance with DoDAF standards.
  • Support the planning and analysis of the DoD Certification/Accreditation Process and other Government Certification and Accreditation processes.

Clearance Requirement:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Educational Background:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience in System Engineering is required.
  • Alternatively, five (5) years of additional System Engineering experience may substitute for a Bachelor's Degree, totaling nineteen (19) years of experience.
  • At least four (4) years of experience in Space/Weapon/Ground/Terminal system development or evaluation, along with Cybersecurity design experience, is essential.
