Job Summary

Summit Electric Supply is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our front office, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring a positive and professional experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answering Multiple Phone Lines: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicating with Guests and Customers: Greet and welcome customers, respond to their needs, and provide assistance as required.
  • Directing Calls and Guests: Route calls and visitors to the appropriate departments or personnel, ensuring efficient and effective communication.
  • Supporting Administrative Tasks: Assist with billing, auditing, sorting, and filing of tickets, as well as preparing daily bank deposits.
  • Maintaining a Clean and Organized Workspace: Ensure the foyer and corresponding offices are neat, clean, and well-stocked at all times.
Additional Responsibilities

  • Assisting with Mail and Supplies: Support with mail and ordering of supplies.
  • Ensuring a Positive Customer Experience: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and professional experience for all customers.
Requirements
  • Strong Customer Service Orientation: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with customers, guests, and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
  • Time Management and Organization: Prioritize tasks, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Adapt to changing situations, priorities, and deadlines, ensuring a positive and professional experience for all customers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Receptionist Experience: Previous experience as a receptionist, handling multi-line phone systems.
  • Experience with Office Machines: Experience working with office machines, such as faxes, copiers, and other general equipment.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Bilingual: Ability to communicate in multiple languages, including English and Spanish.
