Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of IRS Program initiatives, ensuring they align with the IT Modernization Strategy.
  • Create and sustain program management documentation, including schedules, roadmaps, and progress reports.
  • Manage risks and issues, engage stakeholders, and lead change management efforts.
  • Conduct meetings and workshops with IRS and contractor teams.
  • Guarantee adherence to IRS standards and the successful achievement of program goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related discipline.
  • 10-12 years of experience in IT project management, particularly in government or large-scale IT modernization initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, risk management, and OneSDLC documentation.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Experience with IRS or comparable government entities is preferred.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must fulfill requirements to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance (active Moderate Risk MBI clearance is advantageous).
  • Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Legal Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) for a minimum of three years and must be compliant with Federal Tax obligations.
