Position Overview

ProSphere (PST), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is in search of a Project Manager with a strong background in overseeing multiple Federal government initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven leadership skills and possess extensive experience in managing Information Technology (IT) infrastructure projects, including system engineering, infrastructure operations, and cloud migration. The Enterprise Project Manager (EPM) should be knowledgeable in project management methodologies and adept at tracking schedules, performance metrics, resource allocation, risk assessment, and fostering business relationships. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and effective communication with all project stakeholders are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily management and accountability of assigned projects.
  • Supervise all phases of project development and implementation, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation, including briefings, schedules, and reports, to support project objectives.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely updates.
  • Generate weekly status reports to monitor project deliverables, activities, and milestones.
  • Utilize formal project management tools and methodologies that align with industry standards.
  • Manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, including infrastructure and software enhancements.
  • Participate in project status reviews and government oversight meetings, providing ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and action items.
  • Maintain an online library of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) accessible to all contract personnel and Federal Managers.
  • Collaborate with and motivate project team members to achieve project goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related field (6 years of additional relevant experience may substitute for education).
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, specifically in leading IT projects focused on infrastructure and operations.
  • Possession of Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is required.
  • Familiarity with agile project management practices is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal public trust/security clearance.
  • Proficient in managing document libraries using Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Proven success in applying project management principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members.
