We Are Looking For... An experienced Project Management Professional (PMP) with over ten years of robust experience in applying industry-leading practices, including the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). The successful candidate should possess a background in law enforcement or public safety, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities to manage a significant federal government contract. They should be adept at team development and delegation, effectively guiding teams on comprehensive projects or specific project components. This position entails evaluating new and complex project challenges and formulating innovative solutions related to finance, scheduling, technology, and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile and submit bi-monthly timecard reports to confirm employee schedules and hours worked.
- Deliver a Monthly Status Report (MSR) to the government Contracting Officer (CO).
- Assist in aligning program vacancies with contract labor categories.
- Monitor vacant positions, oversee candidate screening and replacement, ensuring qualifications align with requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison between the organization and government representatives, providing essential guidance to contractor personnel.
- Evaluate contractor performance, offering coaching and direction as necessary.
- Engage with government representatives to discuss contractor performance, planning, and updates.
- Maintain schedules for all contract personnel and seek approval for any schedule modifications.
- Communicate issues requiring government attention and enforce company policies with contractor staff.
- Facilitate the onboarding of new personnel and coordinate security briefings.
- Develop strategies for application selection, systems development, and resource support.
- Ensure projects adhere to budgetary constraints and adjust as necessary based on financial assessments.
- Meet with clients to gather feedback, manage expectations, and communicate project progress.
- Establish individual and team objectives, assessing performance in accordance with HR policies.
- Oversee all facets of project management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- PMP Certification.
- At least 10 years of experience in managing federal contract workforces or equivalent.
- Familiarity with cloud migration and data management.
- Experience overseeing federal contracts exceeding $40 million annually.
- Understanding of the Service Contract Act (SCA) and Fair Labor Standards Act.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in public safety or law enforcement and proven team-building skills.
- Prior contract management experience with government entities.
