Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Wholesale Sales Intern to join our Customer Success organization. As a Wholesale Sales Intern, you'll work collaboratively with our wholesale sales team to assist with and lead sales of Lumen's product line. You'll have the opportunity to develop account management skills, including relationship development and quoting new services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist with and lead sales of Lumen's product line, including data, voice, security, and other services.
  • Work collaboratively with our wholesale sales team to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and leads, utilizing various communication methods.
  • Participate in sales and partnership development activities, including identifying new business opportunities and developing sales plans.
  • Review current billing revenue and engage in upgrade/renewal discussions with customers.
  • Utilize Lumen product libraries to develop and understand wholesale services.
Requirements
  • Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship.
  • Graduating August 2025 – May 2027.
  • Preferred fields include business, marketing, sales, telecom, or other related fields.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week program (May 30 – August 8, 2025).
  • US work authorization is required. Individuals needing visa sponsorship are not eligible.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Office Suites proficiency.
  • Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • LinkedIn and other social media platforms proficiency.
  • Sales experience is a plus.
  • Works well with mathematics.

Compensation

Internship compensation ranges depend on each individual's level of education, geographic location, and experience/qualifications aligned to the role.

Hourly Based Pay Range:

Min: $22.00/hour

Max: $35.00/hour
