Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Pricing Director to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive national pricing strategy for the Medical Systems Group at Olympus Corporation of the Americas. The successful candidate will drive a standardized pricing process across all business units, maximizing bottom-line margin performance and ensuring alignment with MSG GPO/IDN contracting structures and business unit priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive national pricing strategy for the Medical Systems Group
  • Drive a standardized pricing process across all business units, maximizing bottom-line margin performance
  • Lead the internal collaboration with contract operations, sales support, and SFDC teams to effectively develop, approve, and distribute pricing offers to customers
  • Develop pricing structures, discount matrices, and pricing corridors based on customer and product segmentations
  • Track contract pricing performance and compliance, maintaining adherence to internal audit requirements
  • Lead an internal price council to achieve stated financial plans and develop and manage an exception/change management process
  • Effectively operate in a cross-functional environment, advising and influencing sales, marketing, finance, operations, and legal teams
Requirements
  • A minimum of ten years of progressive experience in healthcare, with proven experience in pricing, finance, contract operations, marketing, and commercial leadership
  • Minimum 30% travel expected
  • Must be available during the working hours of your team (different time zones, etc.)
  • Strong functional knowledge of GPO/IDN agreement creation, management, and implementation preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute a strategic vision for change across the organization

  • Excellent analytical skills
