Job Summary and QualificationsWe are looking for a Radiology Technologist to join our ambulatory surgery center. Under the guidance of your Physician, you will conduct a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures in compliance with established protocols to ensure positive patient outcomes. You will be responsible for upholding the mission of HCA, which is to commit to the care and improvement of human life.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare necessary supplies and positioning aids for your procedures according to the physician's preference card.
- Test and monitor your equipment to ensure proper working condition.
- Accurately document records and other forms, adhering to approved policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all individuals in your room are appropriately shielded before activating x-ray equipment.
- Communicate pertinent information about your patient's status to other staff involved in their care.
- Perform required maintenance of your instruments, supplies, and equipment by following cleaning, care, storage, and calibration procedures.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiology required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist, preferably in an operating room or surgery center setting.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
- BLS certification required.
