The Community You Will Serve:

Your Role:

As an MRI Technologist, you will deliver exceptional patient care within the medical imaging department. Your responsibilities will include performing high-quality imaging and examinations while being attentive to the needs of patients. You will adhere to ACR practice guidelines and safety protocols for MRI, showcasing leadership qualities and serving as a role model for fellow technologists. Additionally, you will act as a clinical resource for unit personnel, ensuring that current standards of practice are upheld.

The Value You Bring to the Team:

  • Conduct magnetic resonance imaging scans to produce high-quality images while following safe MRI practices.
  • Ensure timely and accurate production of quality images.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, providing them and their families with information and support regarding the procedures.
  • Assist and position patients during the imaging process.
  • Monitor patients and equipment throughout procedures, documenting any unusual occurrences and the patient's condition.
  • Facilitate efficient patient flow and optimal utilization of equipment and resources.

Qualifications:

Essential Expertise and Experience:

  • Registered Technologist in Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging - R.T. (R) and/or (MR) (ARRT)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • High School Diploma or GED
