The Community You Will Serve:

Your Role:

Deliver exceptional patient care within the medical imaging department. Conduct high-quality imaging and examinations while being attentive to patient needs. Adhere to ACR practice guidelines and safety protocols for MRI. Exhibit leadership qualities and serve as a mentor for fellow technologists. Act as a clinical resource for unit staff and ensure compliance with current practice standards.

Your Contributions to the Team:

  • Conduct magnetic resonance imaging to capture high-quality images while adhering to safety standards.
  • Produce accurate and timely imaging results.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, providing clear information and addressing their physical and emotional needs.
  • Assist patients during procedures and ensure proper positioning.
  • Monitor patients and equipment throughout the process, documenting any unusual occurrences and the patient's condition.
  • Facilitate efficient patient flow and optimal utilization of resources.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Registered Technologist in Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging - R.T. (R) and/or (MR) (ARRT)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • High School Diploma or GED
