We are seeking a motivated PRN Radiology Specialist to assist us in achieving our objectives.

Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

Our Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Department offers a wide array of services to support the screening, diagnosis, and treatment of medical conditions and urgent injuries. Key responsibilities of our Radiology Specialist include:

Operating x-ray equipment to capture radiographs of specified body areas.

Under the guidance of a Radiologist, performing x-ray therapy on patients, explaining procedures, and addressing patient concerns.

Serving patients in our emergency department, hospital, and outpatient settings.

Conducting procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.

Maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills while delivering quality diagnostic results.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of an AMA accredited Radiology Technology training program with current ARRT certification.
  • Must maintain current registry through continuing education activities to uphold knowledge and skill level.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform tasks that require frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and lifting patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Preferred: 2 years of recent acute care experience.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
