Key Responsibilities- Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts.
- Perform x-ray therapy on patients under the supervision of a Radiologist.
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and explaining procedures in a clear and concise manner.
- Provide exceptional patient care in emergency, hospital, and outpatient settings.
- Maintain expert technical and patient-care skills to deliver high-quality diagnostic results.
- Completion of an AMA-approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT.
- Maintenance of current registry through continuing education activities.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Prefer 2 years of recent acute care experience.
