Job Summary and Qualifications
CT Imaging Technologists utilize computerized tomography (CT) scanners to generate cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues for medical diagnosis.
A CT Imaging Technologist must accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to obtain the necessary images.
Here is what to expect as a CT Tech with us:Your role requires solid to expert knowledge of all CT procedures.
You will communicate and work independently while performing all CT procedures on patients ranging from newborns to seniors.
Your role involves using computed tomography equipment to capture images of a patient's body from various angles.You will prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified positions, and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
Your role reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and colleagues.What qualifications you will need:
Graduate of a 24-month AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology - Certified by ARRT.
ARRT(RT)(CT) REQUIRED and CE compliance & Current BLS certification required.
1 year of diagnostic experience required. CT experience preferred.
Solid to expert knowledge of all CT procedures.
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
